Back to Finland!

Hyvinkää is waiting for us again, in this year of transition in which we have decided to keep our presence in concerts to a minimum; Steelfest is simply unmissable.

The selection of bands for the line up is once again interesting with a handful of bands that are very difficult to see live, don’t tour or come to the festival for exclusive shows.

As usual, the headliners are powerful names that we have seen a thousand times but… we can’t get enough, and as usual the good stuff comes within the small names! So, with the line up and order already unveiled, we have a complete picture of the steel storm that is upon us.

I admit that on Thursday we will go on an adventure, as we haven’t had any time to listen to all the bands as they deserve, but we are looking forward to see again Destroyer 666 presenting “never Surrender” after last year’s incredible concert or the one in 2018.

another band on thursday night that was in the previous edition, Horna; one of the favorites at TFTF. This makes me a little sad because with the light conditions of the indoor stage I won’t be able to improve last year’s photo session but I’m up for a challenge

the undisputed kings of thursday will be Marduk, personally I could see them a thousand times and not get tired! we already had the honor to see them on the stage of Hyvinkää in 2017 and 2019 and for this year, without Devo and Widings we hope they will be just as powerful.

Another interesting act on thursday will be that of the Finns Pest, with a totally exclusive reunion appearance of this defunct band.

The Colombians Utuk-Xul will be in charge of waving the banner of South American black metal with their raw sound. Loits, The Committee and coraxul are some of the bands I will definitely try to see and I still have to catch up with the rest of the bands.
